Board of Directors
On April 30, 2024, the new Board of Directors was elected by the Company’s shareholders at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting. It currently consists of seven members, six of whom are considered independent in accordance with the Novo Mercado regulations.
Members are chosen based on their alignment with the Company’s mission and strategic positioning, as well as criteria such as diversity of knowledge, experience, behavior, cultural aspects, age, and gender to ensure the Company can benefit from a variety of perspectives and a higher quality, more secure decision-making process.

Christiano Antoniazzi Galló started his career in the area of e-commerce planning at JC Penney, in the USA. Later, he was an equity analyst focused on retail companies and consumption at IP Capital Partners (Brazil), Dynamo Capital (England) and VELT Partners (Brazil). He is currently a partner at Quartz Asset Management. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University (USA) and an MBA from Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge (England). |

Eduardo Campozana Gouveia | Board Member |
Eduardo Campozana Gouveia is an investor and board member at start-ups such as Allya, PinPeople, Hands, AsaaS and VEE, and a board member at large companies such as Mapfre Seguradora, CI&T software and Baterias Moura. Mr. Gouveia was the CEO of Cielo until August 2018, a payment solutions, technology and retail services company. Before taking over Cielo in early 2017, he was the CEO of Alelo. He also founded and was the CEO of Livelo, a customer loyalty company of Banco do Brasil and Bradesco. He was the first CEO of Multiplus Fidelidade. Before serving at this company, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cielo between 2006 and 2010. He held the positions of Vice President of Marketing (Walmart Brasil), Chief Marketing Officer (Bompreço) and General Officer (HiperCard). He started his career in the IT department of Banco Banorte then served in the Bank’s product, marketing and sales departments. The executive holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal do Pernambuco (UFPE), a specialization degree in Finance from IBMEC and an MBA in Marketing from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). |

Mr. Flávio Jansen Ferreira has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Lojas Quero-Quero since 2009 and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Locaweb Internet S.A., Allied Tecnologia S.A., YDUQS Participações S.A. and Digipix S.A.. Flávio is an investor in start-ups, currently investing in Laqus S.A., OQVestir and DressAndGo. He is a board member of the Brazilian Chamber of Digital Economy, CâmaraE-Net. He was responsible for starting the Submarino.com website, where he served as Technology Director, rising to the position of CEO. In the past, he was president of Submarino.com, during the company’s IPO on Bovespa, and its merger withAmericanas.com resulted in the company B2W. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Fleury S.A., CETIP-SA, International Meal Company S.A. and Grupo IBMEC Educacional SA. Ms. Leila Harumi Nakashima was CPO (Chief Product Officer) of La Haus, a company present in Colombia and Mexico, until the beginning of 2023. At La Haus, she was responsible for developing digital products for the real estate market, making the dream of home ownership possible for millions of families. Previously, he took part in Magazine Luiza’s digital transformation for ten years, rethinking the physical stores, implementing multichannel and the marketplace platform. She has experience in retail, consumer goods, technology and strategic consulting. She has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of USP and an MBA from Stanford University, USA. |

Mr. Jorge Fernando Herzog has 34 years of retail experience, having held executive positions in renowned chains in Brazil and Mexico, such as Vice President of Grupo Carrefour and Grupo Pão de Açúcar, as well as CEO of Ponto Frio, being responsible for the integration with Casas Bahia (Grupo CasasBahia). He was involved in the process of transforming Grupo Walmart Brasil into Grupo BIG, culminating in its sale to Grupo Carrefour. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Coordinator of the Commercial and Operations Committee of Grupo Supermercados Irmãos Lopes S.A., as well as a member of the Board of MOB2CON SoluçõesTecnológicas S.A. and a mentor and investor in several startups. |

Peter Furukawa joined the company in 2009. Since then, he has held the position of Chief Executive Officer. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Fortbras and C&A. Before joining Lojas Quero-Quero, Peter Furukawa held the following positions: CEO (IMC); COO (Pernambucanas); CEO (Submarino); CFO (PepsiCo Foods); and Senior Engagement Manager (McKinsey & Co). He graduated in Computer Science and earned an MBA from Brigham Young University, in the USA. |

Carlos Elder Maciel de Aquino has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), a master’s degree in Accounting and Actuarial Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and is studying for a PhD in Controllership and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (USP). He has an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-SP and an MBA in Controllership from the University of São Paulo (USP-SP), as well as a specialization in Engineering Economics from the Catholic University of Pernambuco (UNICAP-PE). He has been an executive at companies such as Unibanco, Itaú Unibanco, KPMG and Diagnósticos da América S.A. He is a guest lecturer at the Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras (Fipecafi) and FIA-USP. He has also authored and co-authored articles in books and national and international magazines on finance, accounting, governance, regulatory aspects and auditing. He has more than 40 years of professional experience, having held executive positions in the accounting, financial, auditing, health, private pension and third sector segments, as well as serving as a member of the board of directors, supervisory boards and audit committees, risk management committees, internal controls, ethics and conduct, prevention of money laundering and related party transactions. He is currently a member of the board of directors and also coordinator of the Audit Committee of Locaweb Serviços de Tecnologia S.A., coordinator of the audit committees of Allied Tecnologia S/A, Lojas Quero-Quero S/A, Nibs Participações S/A (Copenhagen) and Fortbras S/A. He is a member of the audit committee of Tokio Marine Seguradora S/A and Tigre S/A Participações and Ebanx Holdings LLC and a member of the ethics and conduct committee of Nibs Participações (Copenhagen). Catia Porto has a degree in Psychology from PUC-RJ, a post-graduate degree in Human Resources Management from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and several extension courses in business schools such as Wharton, IMD and Stanford. She is a Human Resources executive, and has developed an international career having studied and worked in the United States, Mexico, Japan, Finland, and the United Kingdom. Brazilian, with British nationality, she studied at Dakota Wesleyan University, focusing on dual degrees in Psychology and Business Administration. She has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources and over 15 years leading large teams in Brazil and abroad. Her career spans several disciplines in Human Resources with solid experience in cultural transformation, leadership development, start-ups, business transformation/turaround and mergers/acquisitions. She has worked in multinational companies in the technology, consumer goods, services and healthcare segments, working in companies such as AIG, UCI Cinemas, Nokia, British American Tobacco (BAT)/Souza Cruz and UHG (United Health Group). In September 2019, Catia joined the Big Group as Executive Director of HR and Corporate Affairs, with the mission to evolve the Human Resources area and accelerate the cultural transformation of the Group. |
